What’s your top meal-prep tip for super busy people on the go?

Spend at least one hour prepping your meals for the week. This will save you so much time – plus, this makes it super easy to stick to a healthy eating plan. With your app meal plans, pre-cooking the grains and proteins you will use throughout the week is a great start. You can even take it one step further and prep the lunches so that they’re ready to go. Once you have your main ingredients prepped the meals come together in no time!


What’s one thing that we can all do right now to kick our nourishment up a notch?

Add greens to everything! Dark leafy greens are spinach, kale, swiss chard, dandelion, romaine, arugula (rocket), etc. Eating at least three cups of greens will do wonders for you overall health! This isn’t as hard as it sounds. 1-2 cups is perfect for a smoothie, 3 cups is a great salad base, and 2 cups wilts down to almost nothing in a stir-fry!

Greens are one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. Plus, they’re full of fiber which encourage growth of good bacteria in our digestive tract. This is essential for reducing inflammation, improving digestion, reducing bloat, boosting your energy, and aiding in weight loss. If you want glowing skin and vibrant energy, eat your greens.

What’s your favourite approach to making sure that your mindset toward nutrition stays healthy as your fab recipes?

A healthy lifestyle isn't all or nothing. It's about finding a balance with your lifestyle in the season of life you’re in. My best piece of advice is to get very clear on your "why". Why do you want to live a healthy lifestyle? Sit with this question. Dig deep. Get clear on your values and what you want your life to look like. Once you have a clear picture, it's much easier to create the lifestyle you want. Write it down and hold yourself accountable. Eventually, these will become a habit and you can add on new goals, one at a time.
