Spring Warm Up!

words Josie Broad

Are you ready to warm up for spring? ☀️

As we move into the warmer months, it calls for a revamp of routine.

Featuring our new mobility movements to help your fitness journey into the warmer weather. Dynamic mobility warm ups, designed to be completed before or after a workout. Try them out here.

So what to do to make the most of the changing season?

Set New Goals: Spring is a great time to set new goals or revisit existing ones and aim to complete them as we head toward the new year. Whether they're related to fitness, personal growth, or hobbies, the change of the season can inspire you to make positive changes.

Embrace the Outdoors: Take advantage of the warmer weather and longer daylight hours by spending more time outdoors. Complete your steps or home workouts from outside where you can. The pleasant weather can make exercising more enjoyable and motivate you to stay active

Protect Your Skin: As you spend more time outdoors, remember to use sunscreen to protect your skin from the increasing intensity of the sun's rays. Although originally developed for tweens and teens, our whole team is loving Aussie made and owned, New Day Skin’s mineral daily face creams. Their SPF 50+, vegan formulations are Non Comedogenic which is a must when working out. Sunscreen has become Tammy’s non negotiable after her melanoma scare, ensuring she wears sunscreen and keeps herself sheltered from the harsh rays.

Spring Cleaning: Use the spirit of renewal that comes with spring to declutter and organise your living spaces. A clean and organised environment can have positive effects on your mental well-being.

Diet and Nutrition: Incorporate seasonal fruits and vegetables into your diet. Spring offers a variety of fresh produce that can enhance your meals and provide essential nutrients. Our newly release salad bar has you covered, with 10 new fresh salads!

Wardrobe Transition: Swap out heavy winter clothing for lighter, breathable fabrics. Don't forget to keep a light jacket or sweater handy for cooler evenings. We love to mix colours and play around with boleros or bike shorts as we transition, Saski is our go-to for trendy, supportive and well made pieces.

A new season encourages time for self reflection and personal growth. Adjusting your routine to embrace the new season, focus on well-being and the opportunities it offers.
